This video was a remake of one I did many years ago back before I knew Blender or really anything about filmmaking. In that video, I used a color bleed transition to kind of mimic the dripping wax style of the famous Netflix Daredevil opening credits. When I did it this time I used Blender’s dynamic paint feature which mimics the effect of dripping paint or stains. I used it to show invisible 3D models being enveloped by a liquid-like red wax material. The largest improvement I could make would be to add a liquid simulation overtop the dynamic paint just to add some 3D elements to it, however, my computer does not have the processing power to do this and it crashed every time I tried.
