I made this video a long time ago (in a galaxy far far away) and while I am still proud of it and wish to show it off I will acknowledge that it does not meet my standards of today.
For this project, I used various clips from real Star Trek and Star Wars movies and shows, intercut with 3D animations I did myself. Most of the 3D work was done in Blender 3D, which is awesome. It is a great program that is so in-depth and at the same time, free. I edited the video together in Vegas Movie Studio Platinum. There are many visual effects and tricks I used in this video but there are too many of them to list from particle simulations to fire, HDRIs, reflective oceans, lightsaber effects, masking, and green screen.
